Are you looking for a chance to gain practical ministry experience? Do you know someone who is interested in interning at a ministry? Here at GoodSeed, we’re always on the lookout for people who are keen on stretching their skills.
It was an amazing time at Missions Fest. We met quite a number of people who were familiar with our tools and said they were using them to reach out to friends and neighbours. There were also people who were looking for ways to explain the gospel to their loved ones and they were happy to discover we had tools that could help them.
One family was so excited to discover What are Christmas and Easter All About? that they bought a case of 100 books to give out to everyone they know.
Any regular believer can guide a friend accurately and clearly through the gospel. There is no need to be theologically trained, a good orator or even an experienced Bible study leader.
This three-day seminar is designed to train participants how to conduct worldview evangelism with anyone they may know. The approach to learning is “as you are taught, so you will teach,” meaning the participants will experience an entire overview of the Bible’s message while learning how to teach it themselves.
All around the world, we see believers sharing the Good News with their friends and neighbours. They seek resources in their local heart language so that they can explain the gospel better, in way their friends can understand.
Here are two letters we received from two believers.
On Saturday, we held a Worldview Rethink Workshop at Bethel Gospel Church. It was a wonderful time with close to 90 participants from in and around Edmonton. We had five different staff share on how a regular believer can cultivate a lifelong lifestyle of sharing the gospel.
The team just completed two Worldview Rethink Workshops in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. As one of our staff members mentioned, the best word to sum up the workshops was “motivational.” More than just providing good knowledge and solid Bible teaching, the workshops encouraged participants to start sharing the gospel, whether it’s leading a study or simply giving a book to a friend. Many participants came up to us to say, “This is what I’m going to do!”
The video clip editing for By This Name Interactive Edition has been slow-going. This upcoming edition will include a DVD with video clips that help teach the material. As people read through the book, some sections will have a DVD icon, and they can view a video clip to help understand the message better.
Join us in February and March and tell others who are living close by!
How do you share the Gospel with someone if you only have five minutes? What if you have several hours? What are the essentials you need to cover? What challenges are you up against and how do you overcome them so they can simply understand what you are saying? Learn more about how to give away the Gospel and guide someone through a course at the Worldview Rethink workshops.
The harvest is great and the laborers are few, but with good tools, the laborers can get a lot more work done!
In a wonderful way, the Lord has brought a number of new staff to the ministry this year. However, we have not been able to afford new computers for them, so they are working with old computers previously deemed too old or slow to be of much use. We have an immediate need for around $10,000 worth of equipment. This is at the top of our priority list. As expected, this is an ongoing need as computers and software are always needing to be upgraded, and as the ministry grows, more computers are needed. These are the primary tools we use to create the tools or resources for the ministry.
