A church in Iowa recently had a block party to reach out to their community and decided to use GoodSeed materials to pass out and share the gospel. Kim writes in to share how things went.
“The block party went really well! We had a steady flow of people from a variety of ages and backgrounds. Because there was time to interact, I felt like the mission was accomplished, reaching out to people where they are and giving them tools to grow in or start a relationship with Jesus, by better understanding the Bible.
The Story that Matters book was given out to all of the guests in a bag upon arriving, four bibles were given out, and a lot of the eBook cards, which was very convenient.
With the hope of reaching out to those with little knowledge of the Bible, I also designed a quick and easy list of questions to help them open the Bible and get familiar with finding verses, along with opening the book By This Name.
All of our guests received info on how to keep in touch with the church through the packet and two gals were quite interested in participating in a book study.
