As our books, DVDs, audiobooks, picture books and curriculum are given out all around the world, we hear stories of how the tools have made an impact in people’s lives. Suddenly, the core message of the Bible becomes clear for someone who never understood it before.
Below are a number of stories we’ve received over the years from people just giving away one of our tools to a friend, co-worker, neighbour, loved one or to a stranger they had only just met.

My mother gave my son a copy of “The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus” for his birthday. Before he got a chance to read it both my wife and I read it and were throughly blessed by it. Today I visited my doctor. He had “The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus” displayed on a table in his office. After reading the back cover of the book I asked Dr. Kidd if I would enjoy the book because it says on the back… “for the person who knows nothing about the world’s bestseller—the Bible” I do have more than the average knowledge of the Bible. He replied, “everyone will get something from this book. I give it to all my non-christian patients.” Isn’t that wonderful, what a ministry he has? Anyway, he loaned me the book. I cannot tell you in enough words how I am enjoying this book. I cannot wait to finish it. I am going to have a look at the workbook and purchase one for a Bible study later on. I was surprised that this book got passed me in the book stores… as I am a avid reader. Now I realize you are a non-profit organization. Thank you so much…..

In this series of studies that we are teaching, a NZ born ethnic Indian lady became a Christian. Lina became a Christian not long after we had started the studies. We were only up to teaching about Abraham when a conviction of being a sinner and needing a Saviour came upon her. As we have carried on through the studies, she has shown a wonderful understanding of the message of salvation. Less than 60 minutes ago, our daughter Hadassah, rang me to tell that 8 of 10 of the kids that go to her Junior high group have just accepted the Lord as their Saviour. Hadassah is using the TERM studies (a study through The Stranger). I am just writing this so that you know this method of teaching the gospel to the unsaved works. Pray, teach it, and allow God to save the lost. Praise God.

I have been so impressed with the audiobook of, “The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus”, that I had to buy more hard copies to pass out to family and friends that need to hear this wonderful explanation of the Bible.
