He writes, \u201cI have enjoyed reading and teaching The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus<\/em><\/a>. We use the book in an ‘Intro’ course for students at our international school in China! For several years now, we have been purchasing copies of The Stranger<\/em> in three languages.\u201d<\/p>\n The international school puts all new students through a Bible introduction course. Students in grade 6-8 are grouped in one class while the higher grades each have their own class. The course runs for one semester and gives the students an introduction and overview of the Bible, so that they have a foundation for other courses that follow.<\/p>\n Regarding the impact of the study, the principal wrote, \u201cI remember a senior presentation several months ago\u2014the student said that he remembered the ‘Intro’ course and, as a result, came to know Him through the study and its teacher!\u201d<\/p>\n In his email, he asked if our online Bible course<\/a> can be used for review. We told him the online course was based on The Stranger<\/em> Videobook so it was perfect for his students to review or catch up on any classes they might have missed.<\/p>\n Another of his questions was whether we had any resources that were suitable for new students who only had a grade 4 level of English. We recommended starting with The Story that Matters<\/em><\/a>, which is written in Easy English. Once the student grasped the message there, he or she could go on to do The Stranger<\/em> or By This Name<\/em>.<\/p>\n After our exchange, the principal went on to learn more about our other resources and was happy to discover that we had ebooks. He wrote again to say that for the next ‘Intro’ course, he had upgraded the students’ experience by getting ebook copies of The Stranger<\/em> for each student. Now everyone can read the book on their computers\u00a0as well as review the material by watching the online Bible course.
