Once every two years, our global staff, families and friends gather for our International\u00a0Bible Camp. This year’s was a great time of prayer, worship and fellowship. We gave updates to all the staff on the plans for the coming months and our invited speaker taught us through the book of James. It was not all serious business though. There was lots of catching up, games and sharing testimonies of what God has been\u00a0doing in each of our lives and in our areas of work.<\/p>\n

While the adults had meetings and training sessions, our children had their own camp. There were devotions and a whole lot of outdoor fun. The weather started off cool but as it warmed up, the kids were out there in the sand, in the water and flying through the air! We knew they had a good camp because we only saw them at mealtimes.<\/p>\n

One major highlight of our time together was the very first performance of the musical we’ve been developing for some years now. We had pulled together a small choir comprised of staff and friends. They had spent a number of weeks rehearsing\u00a016 original songs written by our music team. (We are very grateful for all the time they put in!) And we had a three-member cast\u00a0who did a read-through of the story portion. Thus with a blend of story and music, the gospel message was presented in our familiar creation-to-the-cross architecture. The aim of this massive project is to equip churches around the world with a tool they can use to reach out to their community in an friendly and engaging\u00a0way, while still maintaining a clear gospel presentation.<\/p>\n
