Bryan* owns a small carpet cleaning business. \u201cIt\u2019s honest work that provides an income for my family,\u201d he commented the other day when he stopped by the GoodSeed USA office to pick up some more\u00a0Stranger<\/em>\u00a0books. His clients trust him to come into their homes and make their carpets fresh and clean once again. Bryan\u00a0is well-equipped with a specialized truck, including a high-temperature vacuum machine. With plenty of elbow grease, he’s ready for anything.<\/p>\n

Not only is Bryan\u00a0prepared to clean any floor, he is also a well-equipped ambassador of Christ, always ready to share the gospel (1 Peter 3:15). He went on to say:<\/p>\n

What I really enjoy are the people God brings across my path. I get to know my clients more and more each opportunity I have to return\u2013\u2013sometimes several times in a year. I make a point of taking note of decorations, photos on the walls, and such that will give me an idea about their worldview and what\u2019s important to them. It doesn\u2019t take much to begin a conversation, and you\u2019d be surprised how many are quite open to talking about spiritual things. I always keep a case of GoodSeed books\u2013\u2013The Stranger<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0By This Name<\/em>\u2013\u2013handy in my truck and so I\u2019ll often say, ‘I read this book and thought it was really helpful in explaining, in a simple way, what the Bible is all about. If you don\u2019t mind, I\u2019d like to leave it with you as a gift.<\/strong>\u2019 People are quite happy to receive the gift\u2013\u2013not always, but most of the time.\u201cIf I get a sense that a client is not much of a reader, I also have three or four\u00a0Stranger VideoBooks<\/em>\u00a0in my truck to give out on a loan basis. This gives me a reason to later inquire if they have had a chance to watch it. Because I’ve written my name and phone number in the front cover, they can also get in touch with me, if they wish.<\/p>\n

Over the years, I\u2019ve given away many books. During that time, I have heard several people express how much they have appreciated the resources and how much it helped them understand the Bible.\u00a0I feel like giving good resources is one way God can use me. I just want to be obedient.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
