\u201cI have been a member of a very conservative church since the age of sixteen. In the months before I turned forty, I was spending time at a counselling center. The staff were having a difficult time figuring out what was at the root of my struggles. Finally, someone saw through my head knowledge and recognized that I had never truly understood what it means to be a Christian.
