They were Bible teachers to the Manj\u00fai. These tribal people had no knowledge of the Bible and were steeped in their traditional beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being very careful to teach the Bible clearly, the Humphreys encountered problems. The Manj\u00fai put on a veneer of Christianity but underneath, they clung to their animistic beliefs. They were mixing two belief systems together. What could Pete and Leah do? The Manj\u00fais\u2019 eventual trust in Jesus is an exciting story of front line ministry in action.<\/p>\n<p>Learn what the Humphreys did to overcome the challenges and, more importantly, see how it is applicable to ordinary believers anywhere in the world today.<\/p>\n<p><em>In-k\u00e1-hai<\/em> comes with a six-session study guide that can be used for personal reflection or a small group study. From the Manj\u00fais\u2019 experience, lessons are drawn:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How do we become effective ambassadors for Christ?<\/li>\n<li>What challenges do we face with friends and family?<\/li>\n<li>How do we share a clear gospel?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Join us for an afternoon at the book launch and dedication. Chantal Chen, who wrote <em>In-k\u00e1-hai<\/em> during her internship with GoodSeed, will be sharing her experience writing the book and will read an excerpt. Come learn how you can use &#8220;In-k\u00e1-hai&#8221; for yourselves, your small group or your classroom. You will be fascinated with the story of the Manj\u00fai.
