It has made the entire story of the gospel so clear to me. In learning the story, step by step, it builds upon itself and makes so much sense. It's not just an emotional, feel good thing. It's a perfect plan that "legally" explains my human condition and my way of escape. It has affirmed my faith and made me excited and more confident to share this good news.

Tying the pieces together...I've been looking for a way to do a Bible overview so that I have a foundation I understand and can explain to others. This is solid material to help me do that. I hope to go through it time and time again so that the links between the puzzle pieces are secure.

This study has been beneficial to me, because it has simplified things. It also has helped me understand things that once put a harness on my faith (e.g., how God can be perfectly loving and perfectly just at the same time). I now feel confident that I could explain Yahweh's history and identity to a non-believer, or even a believer.

TERM has given me insight and tools to present Christ to two people that I love & care for. Through consequences of my sin (lifestyle), they have not sought out my Lord. They have instead embraced the world and its attractions. Now in their 40's, my heart's desire is to reach them with the Truth, the Way and the Light. To bring Jesus into their lives to break down the walls that have been built.

This 3-day journey has given me the tools to do this. I will use it with them and then let my Lord do the rest.

The By this Name TERM Seminar clearly outlines Yahweh's plan of salvation though the entire Bible. It was so thorough of everything someone coming from a post-modern worldview needs to know about who God is and why we should trust Him. The message is deep, yet easy to understand. I feel confident in being used by God to go through this study with some lost sheep in my life, and I can't wait to get started with them!

The message of the good news has been made clear to me. I now fully understand why Jesus had to shed his blood by dying on the cross. I understand why the Old Testament was written:

1. to show God's identity
2. to show God's history & character and
3. to give us illustrations, through stories, of the coming Savior.

He would pay the sin penalty once and for all and give us righteousness so we can have eternal life.
