Looking for a way to share the Gospel from a distance?
Maybe you have a friend who wants to know more about the Bible, but they live in a different community. Perhaps you’re involved in a prison, radio or other ministry where many of your connections with people are either temporary or long-distance. Or possibly there’s that friend who really wants to understand the Bible but is intimidated by the thought of a one-on-one Bible study. In such relationships, how can you share the gospel and still make sure it’s understood?
Trying to do a Bible study with someone long-distance is hard. Harder still is finding out how much they understand, and, as you may have discovered, resources to help span the distance are hard to come by. Traditional tracts and evangelistic tools just aren’t as effective when you live in different places.
You need a way to present the foundational truths of scripture in a way that facilitates the distance. Something that is straight forward and easy for them to follow but also has a way for you to track their progress and to ensure that they’re understanding the message.
There are places in the world where it is dangerous to be seen with a Christian, and yet, if it can be done at a distance, people will readily agree to a Bible Study using The Stranger.
Those involved in Prison Ministries often find there audience is not static. If an inmate is moved, the course can "go-along," allowing for the Bible Study to continue uninterrupted. Unlike the Workbook, this item is not coil-bound, allowing for easier access to prisons.
These groups will find this tool useful in teaching those desiring to study the Bible.
We all know those who don't want "special attention." They may agree to a study of the Bible in private, opening a door to follow their progress at a distance.
These groups may wish to sponsor correspondence ministries from their local church to reach out to those in the community who would not approach the door of a church. This is also an excellent way to strengthen individuals who are weak in Bible basics.
Perforations allow for easy removal of the completed sections and to facilitate mailing.

Answers are not included in the back of the book, but are available to you in a separate Teacher’s Answer Book.
