Are you thinking of becoming part of our ministry? You must also be wondering
how exactly does GoodSeed function as a organization. Here you will find information
that gives you a brief background of the organization as well as ways to become
part of us.

How is GoodSeed structured organizationally?
GoodSeed International is a fellowship of men and
women, who recognize that the biblical account of the death and resurrection
of Jesus Christ holds immense implications for all people. With this in mind,
these likeminded individuals work together to facilitate a clear explanation
of these two significant events, using a "Creation to the Cross" overview
of the Bible.
GoodSeed has members, associates, volunteers,
interns, and affiliates, all working within its organizational umbrella. As
a facilitator, GoodSeed provides an opportunity for
missions and local churches to combine the abilities of their gifted members
with the abilities of others, all for the purpose of accomplishing a task which
would be difficult for on e mission or church assembly to perform. Many of these
people are involved in other organizations and ministries, but all have common
cause with GoodSeed, and wish to buttress, not duplicate
its efforts.
How can I get involved?
In a sense, everyone under the umbrella of GoodSeed is
a volunteer. GoodSeed offers no fixed salaries positions.
No one benefits from sales of books or royalties. Instead, participants are supported
by churches, friends and other ministries that share the goals of GoodSeed.
Retirees are welcome!
Members and Associates are usually career missionaries, though
some must work part-time to make ends meet. For those staff members who need
it, GoodSeed provides a means whereby gifts are tax
receipted. This status often involves a move that places one near a GoodSeed office,
but not always. All members and associates must meet certain doctrinal qualifications.
Interns are volunteers who have agreed to work with GoodSeed for
a specified time (usually minimum of one year) to gain experience in ministry.
An intern may hold a part time job to help subsidize living expenses. This status
involves a move to be near a GoodSeed office. We currently
offer the internship program in the Canadian and U.S. office.
Partners are supported directed by a local church, have private
income or belong to another ministry which handles their finances. Though they
may not be an "official" member of GoodSeed,
they work closely with the ministry and may hold leadership positions in the GoodSeed fellowship.
This status may involve a move to be near a GoodSeed office,
but more often than not, one can continue living as before.
Whether a member, associate, intern or a partner, everyone is loosely referred
to as "GoodSeed staff" and are part of what we
call "us" and "our."
I'm interested in becoming an intern.
If you are interested in finding out if you are a good fit for GoodSeed, or
if you want to gain some practical ministry experience, you may want to consider
joining us as an intern. The internship program provides opportunity for interns
to learn practical skills, gain experience in ministry, as well as grow spiritually
by learning to depend on God's provision in all things. Discipleship is also
a central part of the program where the Intern will be challenged to be student
of the Bible and be able to communicate biblical truths (especially the Gospel)
clearly and accurately.
