Money Matters

We believe GoodSeed is a ministry of the Lord. As such we believe we are stewards, not owners of those resources God gives to us. Therefore, we must conduct ourselves with the highest integrity in the way we administer them.

Who sponsors GoodSeed?

We rely on the gifts of individuals and groups that share our goals--our ministry Partners. We are not sponsored financially by a denomination or other affiliation. If you wish to sponsor us, either with one-time donation or recurring gifts, you can visit our donation page.

Does GoodSeed pay its personnel?

The short answer is, no. Ministry personnel are required to raise financial support for their living expenses. They rely upon God's provision through individuals and groups who partner with them in their ministry.

How do I sponsor a member of GoodSeed?

If you wish to sponsor our ministry personnel, GoodSeed will link you to the family we feel needs your support the most. Ministry personnel are encouraged to live a modest lifestyle becoming to the ministry God has given them.

How are proceeds from book sales used?

All proceeds from sales are used for the worldwide ministry of GoodSeed, for reprints, and ongoing projects. Income from sales is never sufficient to cover project expenses. Most of the seed money for new endeavours, including translations and products created for specific groups, comes from private donations. We are happy to provide you with details of ongoing projects and the financial needs associated with them.

What about administrative costs?

As much as possible, gifts are used as designated. Undesignated gifts are used for general ministry purposes including administrative costs. In concert with our stewardship goals, every effort is made to minimize administrative costs.

Can I receive a receipt for tax purposes?

Yes. GoodSeed USA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. GoodSeed Canada is registered with Revenue Canada as a Charitable Organization (BN Registration Number: 88864 7179 RR0001). Donations intended for the worldwide ministry of GoodSeed, including gifts designated for projects and personnel ministries, qualify for tax deductible receipts. Receipts are issued to donors at the time donations are processed.
